New Blue Party of Ontario Policy Declaration

Finally!  A political party that listens to the people!

Unlike ALL the other political parties in Ontario, this policy document comes democratically from the people – not the party leadership.  Yes, read that again.

It is not like the fake policy conventions of the Ontario PC Party.

I was a member of the Ontario PC Party since the days of Mike Harris.  I have volunteered countless hours canvassing, being a Vote Captain, spending my time, treasure and talent, going to policy conventions and voting on policies that I thought would would be accepted as a part of the party platform.  I’ve travelled all over the Province, renting hotel rooms and giving up my weekend for policy conventions that are nothing more than fronts for fundraising and giving “lip-service” with no real intention to listen to the members.

There was always some excuse after gaining power why the PCs wouldn’t implement the policies voted on by the members.

We were misled for decades.  I got fed up.  The truth is there was NO INTENTION to listen to the members.  They discarded us once the acheived power, and the PC’s are there again.

The New Blue Party of Ontario is Different

The New Blue Party of Ontario is a breath of fresh air!

Party members were encouraged to submit policy ideas in advance of the policy convention which took place on June 19th, 2024 at an in-person policy and planning conference.

It was amazing.

Every single policy was brought onto the floor.  Every member who brought a policy to the floor had an opportunity to talk about their policy.  After members had a chance to comment and discuss the merits and drawbacks, a vote was cast to adopt or discard the policy.

Every single member of the New Blue Party had the opportunity to bring polcies forward.  Every single member.  It was an exercise in the democratic process that I only dreamed I could have seen with the Ontario PCs.

Not only was it very informative and demonstrated the sophistication of the average New Blue Party member, it was a lot of fun.

This policy document comes directly from all the former PC Members who left the PC party and joined New Blue to form a real and legitimate Conservative Party.

As you see the policies in the Policy Declaration Document, you will likely be impressed because they come for normal, everyday people who want lower taxes, government accountability, openness and better services given the amount we pay for them.
